Inform your audience in as much detail as possible in the time allowed about this capital city.DesignAfter picking your capital city, you are expected to conduct your research in English. Find as much information as you can to make people more aware of this capital city; include good points and bad points. Focus on as many aspects of the city as possible in the time given. Your audience will have little or no knowledge about this capital city, so choose wisely about what information will be interesting for them.Target Language/Key Focus1.PowerPoint design Skills2.Informative aspects3.Describing good & bad points4.Script memorization5.Presentation performance6.Research in EnglishKokusai 3rd Grade (K3)The emphasis this year was to automate presentations and have the students prepare more thoroughly to improve the overall presentation experience. We used the PowerPoint ‘Rehearsal’ feature on the nal three presentations and timed slides on the rst. It took some time and training for the students to understand and use the ‘Rehearsal’ feature eectively and so initially their presentations suered. However, the performances gradually got better as they became more familiar with the feature and the benets of using it. By using the feature, it eliminated students using the “clicker/slide changer” and mishaps of clicking forwards-backwards during a presentation. It really kept their presentations on track, creating a more professional presentation for the audience.
